Maxistop Brake Pads

The company was first established as Aymtray Pty Ltd in the year 1988 and set up its manufacturing unit for brake pads at Ballan in Victoria, which was later on bought by Maxistop Pty Ltd in 2001 and shifted to their manufacturing plant spread over 15 acres of land in Melton, Victoria.

The goal of Maxistop is to obtain close to complete (if not complete) exposure over all spectrums of automotive and industrial applications, which includes those variants newly launched into the Australian market.

The vision is to establish the Maxistop brand as a one-stop supply source in Australia for obtaining superior quality and value for money disc brake pads that don’t contain asbestos.

Maxistop AP

Maxistop AP is heavy-duty firmly moulded friction material that is dark grey in colour having a copper random fleck all over its surface. The material is made for use in oil free conditions on 4WD and heavier vehicles. Maxistop AP material has brilliant firmness in heavy-duty operations, but it has a limited supply range due to the design nature of the material.

Maxistop Premium AA

Maxistop AA is a heavier duty, rigid shaped friction material, which is dark grey in colour with a yellow random fleck all over the surface. The material is mainly intended for use in oil free conditions on automotive, industrial and rail brake systems. Maxistop AA material has a brilliant operating performance range combined with low noise and low rotor wear features, yet lowers the black dust levels exposed by organic material in this duty range. Maxistop recommends the use of this material for light to heavier vehicles that tow caravans or trailers, and where the duty levels are higher than the light use of smaller vehicles.

Maxistop Technic AE

Maxistop AE is a stiff moulded friction material, which is dark grey in colour having a silver random fleck all over the surface. The material is mainly intended for use in oil free conditions on automotive, industrial and rail brake systems. Maxistop AE material has an excellent operating performance range combined with low dust, low noise, and low rotor wear features that lower the undesirable black dusting effect frequently encountered with soft natural materials. Maxistop recommends Maxistop AE use on small to medium sized vehicles (i.e. where light to moderate driving capabilities is required). Maxistop AA material ought to be used for heavier usage.
